Relax in our secluded Grass pitch area. These pitches are for tents only, please be aware of our park rules regarding no vehicles allowed on the tent pitch area. Metered Electric is optional, please refer to our Smart Metered Electric page in the drop down of Our Pitches and Offers, for more information. The maximum pitch size is 8x9mt, this is to include tent, wind break and outside seating area. If you require a larger space then you will need to book two adjacent pitches.

Lovely facility

Calm and relaxing stay, amid the birdsong.
The Grange caravan and camping site is set in a lovely location where much care has been taken to consider the natural environment. The site owners are very warm and friendly including ‘site warden’ “Brambles” who is a smashing wee dog. The facilities are excellent, with modern roomy shower spaces. Toilets are very clean and bright in decor. The Grange Mountain Restaurant and Garden Centre nearby, serves nice food and drinks. There is a reliable bus service at the top of the road into Melton Mowbray and we enjoyed Tuesday Market Day. Our stay at The Grange Camping and Caravan Park was enjoyable and we would return if ever in the area again. Oh and thankyou for providing a fair use energy system …..excellent!

* PLEASE NOTE- Please do not drive or park on any of the grassed areas throughout the site at any time unless permission had been sought from the Park Managers upon your arrival.

We strongly recommend that you obtain appropriate and comprehensive travel insurance for all members of the group. This should ideally cover illness, cancellation and injury during your stay.

1.We operate a quiet site; please give consideration to all other guests and keep noise levels to an absolute minimum between 9.30pm and 8am. We do not allow amplified music which may disturb other campers, all music and media devices must be played on low volume for your individual listening during your stay.
2.Check In time 2pm-5pm Friday, 1pm-4pm Saturday to Thursday and Check Out time 11am. If you would like to arrive or depart out of these hours then please contact us- Tel- 07536 996805 or email- info@grangecaravanpark.co.uk
3. Upon arrival all guests should park at the Park carpark, park map for details- https://grangecaravanpark.co.uk/park-map and check in at the Park reception with your online booking reference details. There is strictly no access for arrivals onto your pitch after 19.00 during British summer time hours or 18.00 winter time hours to our Park, in these circumstances if you arrive after this time then a parking space will be available in the site carpark. Reception will be open at 9am for you to check in the following morning. We cannot provide refunds for missed nights.
4. For the enjoyment of our quiet site we do not allow any vehicle movement after 9.30pm on our Park unless in an Emergency Situation. Vehicles will be able to leave the Park during these hours but upon return to the Park will have to park in the carpark until 7am the next morning. No refund will be given for any nights not spent on the booked Camping Field or Hardstanding Pitch once arrived.
5.Each booking includes 2 guests. Additional guests up to a maximum of 4 persons must be paid for in advance.
6.The Camping Field is a tent area only. You will be shown upon arrival where to park for loading and unloading near your pitch.
7.Electric is metered on Hardstanding touring pitches.
8.If you are part of a group booking of 8 people or more then, please notify us by email – info@grangecaravanpark.co.uk
9.No hen/stag parties or weddings are allowed on our Park.
10.We actively encourage dogs to stay at our Park. Your dog remains your responsibility at all times. Please do not leave them unattended and keep them on leads during your stay.
11.Visitors are not permitted on the Camping field or Hardstanding pitches at any time, unless agreed in advance.
12.We request one motor vehicle per pitch. If you need to bring more than one, then please do notify us so we can explain where you will need to park
13. We DO NOT accept commercial vehicles or sign written vans onsite.
14.Maximum speed limit on site is strictly 5mph
15.Clearly labelled recycling and waste facilities are available for small items of household waste and general food waste. Please help with our recycling by cleaning and separating all waste and placing into the appropriately marked bin.
16.Our Caravan and Motorhome Waste Disposal Point only accepts ecologically safe toilet fluid, our reed filtration bed is unable to cope with blue fluid.
17.Gas BBQS are permitted. If you would like to use Charcoal and other combustible BBQs please notify us in advance, but please note disposable BBQs or Fire Pits are not permitted.
18.You will be asked to leave our park if any of the above park rules or Terms and Conditions are breached, or if any of the staff deem that disruption is caused to our Park. If you fail to leave when asked then we reserve right to remove your vehicle/s or tent/s from our park. We will not be held responsible for any damage caused to your vehicle/s or tent/s in these circumstances.
